Functions at this level include the self-directed application of a broad range of knowledge and skills, and the provision of leadership and support to colleagues through the development and management of human resource development initiatives. The salon manager at this level may focus on building the business, leading and developing the team, developing and implementing marketing activities, and ensuring all occupational health and safety requirements are maintained.
This course is suitable for:
- Hairdressers with Certificate III or without qualification
- Students who want to expand their skills into management of a small operating hairdressing salon
- Hairdresser who wants to progress their career into managerial positions
- Business Operator and investors.
- This qualification can lead easily to an Advance Diploma in Business or a Bachelor of Business at University Level.
Pre requisite: There are no prerequisites. We stress that students do not need any specific hairdressing training in order to access this qualification. However a good knowledge of written and oral English is required.
